Schwartzkopf beat the Iraqi Army and was going to expose the entire circus. He stated on a live (unedited) International News Conference that he could have gone into Bagdad unopposed if he were allowed. By exposing that Bagdad was "wide-open" and there were no troops preventing him from going into Bagdad, he was relieved of his command and forced to retire by President Bush. We never heard from Gen. Schwartzkopf on this matter again.

Bush was outraged that They "let" Schwartzkopf into The Cult of West Point and he was not playing ball. Schwartzkopf's family could have been billionaires, but Schwartzkopf gave them the cold-shoulder.
